While some of Andy Warhol’s films have been released on DVD on various labels over the years, this notorious silent, eight-hour epic has yet to see the light of day on any home video format. It’s hard to imagine there would be much interest. Ten-minute and sixty-minute excerpts from the film can be seen on YouTube.
(There is a video claiming to be the entire Empire on YouTube. It is not the original film, but a shot-on-video remake.)
